    Disappointing experience - but to be expected because Countrywide

    Used Austin Wyatt for sale of property. (Southampton) Was hoping their high street presence would be beneficial. Unfortunately, we did alot of the work and alot of the chasing. It wasn't until we went into the office or threatened to go somewhere else that we saw things happen. We found somewhere to purchase but missed out on it due to lack of things happening with our sale despite having lot's of interest. Just a really disappointing experience. Not the people. Since learnt is a common thing with their owners - Countrywide.

    My service feedback with Sales

    I would recommend Austin and wyatt ( canford Heath office ) to anyone I know selling there property cos ALL of the staff keep you informed of everything that is happening with the sale all the way through the process.

    My service feedback with Lettings

    Sometimes fail to respond to emails when an acknowledgement is requested so you then have to send a reminder. It's not always clear whether you have to deal with the branch or Countrywide leading to delays in getting repllies.

    Got a good price but customer service was poor

    With the exception of one helpful female member of staff the overall customer service received was poor. They achieved a good price for the property but they made strings of errors from the start and did not give me any confidence in them as an agent. I would not use them again.

    My service feedback with Sales

    It has been a pleasure to deal with Austin & Wyatt. It has been a difficult time, but they were always helpful and encouraging, and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone selling their property. Of our first three purchasers, the first one couldn't raise the money, the second one's marriage broke up, the third one's marriage also broke up, but the fourth one's managed to stay married long enough to complete the purchase! When the sales fell through, new purchasers always came forward within a couple of days - there were no long gaps in between. Austin and Wyatt worked hard for our sale, and we owe them a huge vote of thanks.
